Squad Diff keeps stats for League of Legends friend groups. It stores as little as it can, and nothing here is sold or shared for advertising.
Logging in with Discord
You log in through Discord's own login page. Squad Diff only asks Discord for the identify permission, so it gets your Discord ID, display name and avatar. We never see your Discord password, and we don't ask for your email address, your servers or your messages.
Viewing a league needs no account. You only log in to create and manage leagues.
What we store
- For each logged-in user: your Discord ID, display name and avatar, and when the account was created.
- For each league: its name, its owner, whether it's public, its settings and the Riot IDs added to it.
- For each player added by Riot ID: their match history, ranks and stats, fetched from the Riot Games API. This is the same data Riot makes public for every player.
- If an owner connects a Discord channel, its webhook. The webhook's secret is stored encrypted and never shown again.
We record when a league was last viewed, not who viewed it. Our host, Google Cloud, keeps standard request logs (such as IP addresses) for a limited time, for security and debugging.
Cookies
When you log in, a session cookie keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. A few short-lived cookies protect the login itself and expire after 10 minutes. There are no ads, analytics or tracking cookies.
Deleting your data
League owners can delete a league, or remove a player from it, on the league's manage page. To delete your account, or to have your Riot ID's data removed from Squad Diff, email squaddiff@gmail.com from the account in question or tell us your Discord name or Riot ID. You can also ask us what we hold about you.
